Andrea, Veterinary Assistant

Andrea is originally from New Brunswick, Canada. She graduated from the Centre for Arts and Technology of New Brunswick’s veterinary assistant program in 2014 with top honors. She joined Ross Bridge Animal Hospital in 2017. Andrea enjoys all aspects of veterinary care, but especially enjoys dentistry and phlebotomy.

Andrea shares her home with her husband of 4 years, her rescue cat, Serenity, and her bearded dragon, Meepa. In her spare time, Andrea plays video games with friends and family from across the United States and Canada. She also loves to do digital artwork. One of her designs won a contest and is now the official logo for the Brunswick Forest Pickleball Club in Leland, North Carolina.


Denise, Veterinary Assistant

Denise, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, joined the team at Ross Bridge Animal Hospital in April of 2019. She attended Cumberland College in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where she majored in Biology/Pre-Veterinarian medicine. Denise has been employed in the veterinary animal science field for more than 23 years including more than 18 years in veterinary practice and 5 years in a veterinary medical research laboratory. Denise has always had a love of animals and has many of her own. Denise has a special interest in dentistry and loves creating lasting bonds with her patients and their pet parents. In her spare time, Denise likes to garden, fish, read non-fiction books, and crochet.


Morgan, Front Office & Guest Relations Coordinator

Morgan joined the staff at Ross Bridge Animal Hospital in 2018. She started out as a kennel technician, but now works in the front office of the hospital. Morgan is a graduate of West Blocton High School and the Aveda Institute. Prior to working at the hospital, Morgan spent several years in the customer service industry at Ulta. Morgan has a pet family that includes two dogs named Jinx and Clyde, and one cat named Kitty. She enjoys being the first person to welcome people and their pets to Ross Bridge Animal Hospital and working in our family-like atmosphere. In her spare time, Morgan enjoys spending time with her pups, playing video games, and practicing makeup techniques.


Brianna, Animal Care Specialist

Brianna is a native of Auburn, Alabama. She graduated from Auburn High School in 2016 and completed her bachelor's degree in Equine Science from Auburn University in 2020. After graduating, Brianna worked at the Scott-Ritchey Research Center under the direction of Dr. Bruce Smith and Dr. Payal Agarwal. Briana worked on various projects including Covid-19 vaccine testing and osteosarcoma and lymphoma treatment trials while at the research center.

Brianna comes to us with 12 years of experience working on horse farms in Auburn and Lexington as a rider, groomer, and trainer. She now brings these experiences to Ross Bridge to provide the best care possible for the animals boarding with us. Brianna joined Ross Bridge in March of 2022 after moving to Birmingham. Her favorite aspects of the job include watching the young dogs learn to play in daycare and forming lasting friendships with the pets that come in. In her free time Brianna can be found competing in horse competitions across the southeast with her horses Sushi and Penelope. When not with her horses Brianna enjoys reading and musical theater.


Skylar, Veterinary Assistant

Skylar grew up in Vestavia Hills, Alabama. She is a 2016 graduate of Vestavia High School and a 2020 graduate of the veterinary assistant program at Snead State Community College. Skylar joined the Ross Bridge family in 2021. She is the proud mom of one dog, Costa and four rescue cats, Moe, Tember, Tigger, and Boots. Skylar loves all aspects of veterinary medicine, but she has a special interest in radiology, dentistry, and feline medicine. She enjoys creating friendships with our pet patients as well as their owners. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, playing guitar, reading, and drawing.


Chloe, Animal Care Specialist

Originally from Opp, Alabama, Chloe has lived all over the south. After pursuing a degree in theatrical performance at Columbus State University, she decided to move to Birmingham in 2020 to be closer to family and work full time. Chloe joined the Ross Bridge Family in 2022. She enjoys being able to help and care for all the pets that come through the practice whether they are here for a day, a week, or even longer! Chloe also loves to create specialized kennel door cards for our frequent boarders and daycare attendees, as well as draw instructional notes that brighten up our days here at the office. Outside of work Chloe can be found drawing, playing animal crossing and crafting trinkets for friends and family.


Kristen, Front Office and Guest Relations Coordinator

Kristen grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. She moved to the Birmingham area in 2007. She began her veterinary career as a veterinary assistant in 2009 and transitioned to the veterinary front office in 2013. Kristen joined the Ross Bridge staff in February of 2020. Kristen loves building relationships with our pet patients and their parents. That is evident by the warm welcomes and friendly conversation she provides. Kristen has 3 canine kids, Bogey, Cho, and Harley. She enjoys spending time with her family, husband Ryan and 3 children, Evan, Ethan, and Emmalyn. She also enjoys hiking and exploring nature.


Ian, Animal Care Specialist

Ian is a native of Coaling, Alabama. He graduated from Brookwood High School in 2019. Ian has always had a love of animals and an interest in the science behind animal care. Prior to joining the Ross Bridge care team, Ian had several years of experience in the Birmingham area. He joined the Ross Bridge Animal Hospital team in the fall of 2021. Outside of work, Ian enjoys playing video games, listening to music, and relaxing at home.
