Ross Bridge Animal Hospital is dedicated to providing compassionate, up-to-date veterinary services that will promote your pet’s health, well-being, and happiness. We specialize in treating companion pets offering services such as boarding and day care, dental care, digital radiography, professional grooming, dermatology, in-clinic diagnostics, surgery, ultrasound, pharmacy, wellness, and more.

In addition to quality health care, Ross Bridge Animal Hospital places a priority on outstanding customer service. We know that your time is valuable, and do our best to accommodate your busy schedule. We operate as an appointment based practice so that you can get in and out with ease. If your day is too busy for an appointment, we can schedule your pet as a drop off. We also accept walk ins who will be worked in between appointments.

Our History

Located at the corner of Greenside Way and Ross Bridge Parkway, Ross Bridge Animal Hospital has been supplying veterinary care to Hoover, Homewood, Birmingham, Bessemer, and the Shannon area since its establishment in 2017. Dr. Rab Stewart moved his family to Ross Bridge in 2011, fell in love with the community, and saw a need for a local veterinary practice. Since its opening, the hospital has more than tripled its number of staff members; each one being an enthusiastic animal lover who looks forward to helping and watching over their pet patients every day.
